Janet Ritchie and Brenda Pearce are making a business out of
horsing around. The two sisters own and operate Doonaree Farms
and Tack Shop, a family business that blends boarding, lessons
and a specialty tack shop. What began as a barn in 1976 has
since grown into a full-fledged business, with the tack shop
being added in 1984. Over the years the store has grown in leaps
and bounds. The farm is also home to Crosby and Baxter, (the dogs) Tigger,
(the cat) and of course many horses.
